Restarts on system error

The automatically restarts button IS unticked on system error, yet, my PC still restarts randomly. I am thinking it is either a RAM problem and/or the Gainward GeForce 3 TI200 video card driver problem. I am leaning more towards the RAM. Any ideas? Thanks.

reseat the ram sticks before you go out to the store .... they could be loose or otherwise unhappy, which seems to be the case with XP

I switched RAM with Corsair which the system board manufacturer recommended. Still having the problem though. I believe it is a hardware problem with either the video card sound card or modem card. Still looking into this.....very nerve racking!
