Whenever I shut down my computer, it will automatically restart by itself 10 - 30 seconds later. Thus, to make sure my computer is completely shut down, I'll then have to press the "shut down" button again.
However, there are times when ill need to repeat the process 3 - 4 times before I can get it to finally stop restarting.
Ive searched through the many topics relating to restarts already but I dont think mine is as serious as the "random restarts" others mentioned.
I've been told that the reason my computer restarts is because there may be hardware or software? that is still running even after shut down.
Just wanted to see If I can get more info as to what has caused this and possibilities of solving this problem.

Go into the bios (set up) and make sure the tick for WOL (wake on LAN) is set to disable
Also look for the "start" on LAN or INFR setting to make them disabled.
You might also do this: but this is not always available on all machines...
