I have installed fans and made system very cool. I have testid 3dmark also and kept it running for 3 hours straight. System worked out fine for 3 hours.

you didn't say what games you were playing. Some games will tax a graphix card pretty hard and cause it to lag or boot; especially older cards with newer games.
Have you looked in viewer to see what comes up there as to what might be the problem?
Also you might try turning restart off and see if it gives you an error code
R. clk "my computer" select properties > select "advanced" tab > select "settings" in
start-up and recovery box > uncheck "auto restart" in system failure box

good luck

Those games should work pretty well with that card except maybe the heat issue and you say that you have that covered. Then it might be a memory dump problem. Where either the ram in your system is going out or the ram on the G card is acting up. If it is the G.card then try to uninstall the catalyst driver pack and reinstall it or the newer update and see if that helps you any.
