restart option missing

when i click start shutdown in the shutdown windows dialog box i dont see the option of restart or shutdown..im the administrator of tht pc ..
plz help me with this annoying problem

I don't recognise the description of "Start Shutdown" or a "Shutdown Windows" dialog box? In XP it's always (so far as I know) Start (menu) "Turn off Computer" and then "Stand By", "Turn Off", or "Restart". Can you clarify in case you are using some other setup than normal?
