Hey guys. Recently, my computer got stuck in a loop every time I would turn it on. It would make it all the way to the Windows loading screen, but then it would restart. I disabled the automatic restart on system failure, and found it was an error with LSASS.exe. I was eventually able to fix that (I think) after about 10 hours. However, now when I start my computer, it doesn't even make it to the Windows loading screen, it just restarts. I can get into safe mode, and I have access to all my programs. HOWEVER my sisters 'Documents and Settings' folder got deleted (or at least, I can't find it). I have absolutely no idea what i should do now, so I would appreciate any advice. A disk wipe IS possible, (I have no extremely important files) but I would appreciate an alternative.
Thanks,
Rob

Booting into safe mode would place you in the administrator account. Therefore the screens may be different.
Go to device Manager and look to see that all hardware is working properly.
Now that you have made changes that you don't like you might try to perform a system restore to a time prior to this problem. If the system restore doesn't help then undo it before proceeding further. You may have a hardware problem.
