Hi! When I stop my PC (P4 1.7Gh - Win XP System). Often, my PC restart alone after 1 or 2 hours! My dealer change the alimentation but I know the same problem with the new alimentation . Anywone can help me ! Thanks in advance. Beste regards Denis

Join the club, I would say..... Have the same problem but mine reboots after about 5 or 10 minutes. Itīs either software or hardware doing stuff it shouldnīt.
If you installed new software, uninstall it. Try taking all hardware out and put it back on at a time. In my pc it seems the soundcard is the problem even though the device manager doesnīt indicate conflicts and it plays sound normally.

same here, although it recons its the graphics card with me. can't say i've heard of alimentation though. anyone got any clues what that is?
I think this might help go to System Properties/Advanced/Startup and Recovery/Settings/System Failure and uncheck this one "Automatically restart"

Hi all! I had the same problem (reboot after 2 or 3 minutes) with my AMD Athlon XP 1600+ but the problem was with my MotherBoard (DFI AD70-SC). My dealer fixed this nicely with a BIOS update. It works perfect now. You should try to use the latest BIOS update for your motherboard. But be aware that this can damage your motherboard if it's done wrong so do it yourself only if you know exactly how to do it.
