im curios for games if theres a difference in modes higher then 1024x768?...i know in that resolution it looks nice but if i wanted to go higher then that will games look better the higher resolution i go?..

A few things, the higher resolution the slower performance there is.
Also even though your video card can handle those resolutions, can your monitor or even the game?

LLoyd, go as high as you can. When your system won't support the resolution anymore the game will not play, you will get wierd lines on your monitor, it will crash, etc. It will let you know for sure.
