I am trying to reset my old mercury computer but can't find the reset button in the BIOS. There is no reset button on the case. It is running windows XP with service pack 3. I don't have a spare installation disk for windows so don't want to kill it permanently.
Could someone please help, or is it even possible? thanks.
What is it you are trying to reset? If you are trying to reset the BIOS, then follow dhruv's suggestion. If your trying to restore the OS to it's factory state, you don't do so by pressing a button, you need to run a restore either from a CD or a restore partition on your hard drive.
