Hey, I was wondering, i do not want to reinstall 4 machines because someone went in and changed the password. Are there any good programs [free or pay for] that you can use to reset the local admin password on an XP box?

You could just log in as another administrator. Then Open Computer Management. (MMC) then navigate to the Local Users and Groups tree. and from there you could choose the admin account to modify.

Actually XP has the "default administrator account"When you set up a NEW account as an administrator XP automatically hides the default administrator.Unless of course you've used this account gave it a name and password.Try it by starting in safe mode and if it lists this account tab thru the password and away you go
