i was repair OS to fix a problem which it did but now i wont install updates and during the repair i got this error: C:\WINDOWS\MICROSOFT.NET\FRAMEWORK\v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll could not load. what can i do to resolve this? could i take the file from a different computer (OS xp home, hp, intel)? or where can i dl it? thanks in advanced

I probably can't help with that. I don't download them myself. But anyone who might help would probably need the error message that you get.

try my xpimage it has net framework installed. drpcdr.ca/xpimage.htm is: A 9GB mage of C:\ drive (3.6 used and 5.4 free) containing Windows XP Pro SP2 with 5 users, security, useful programs + games zipped onto 3 CDs. It is designed to work with a data partition consisting of my documents for each user on 1 almost empty CD. The images are restored using bootit software included in the downloads. Bootit software fits on 1 single floppy diskette or 1 almost empty CD. Beware this is a destructive restoration. Everything on the target partition is erased before the image is restored. Drivers for motherboard devices, chipsets and peripheral equipment must be installed. In other words this is ADVANCED STUFF! NOT FOR NEWBIES! I change mine frequently thanks to imaging technology. Furthermore, depending on the size of the file it ca take more than 24 hours to seed torrents. I have lost patience seeding torrents.
