I need to repair a harddrive that is using Windows XP. I would like to boot from CD and repair it by going to install XP then it detects i have XP installed then says repair. BUT i cant boot from cd. Bios has been changed to boot from cd and ive used multiple XP cds.
So i would like to put my harddrive in my other computer and repair it, with my xp cd. How do i do so?
Unless the hardware in the other computer is the exact same especially the MOBO and CPU it will not work. When you say repair the HDD do you mean the OS?
