hi after having help with my last problem on this site, i was wondering if anybody knows how to change the boot menu names,i have 2 partition both running winxp for different things but i would like to rename my bootmenu names at the moment it has a choice of : windows xp professional winodws xp professional i would like to rename one 2 games/work and the other to music

Try right clicking my computer and go to properties. Then select the advance tab and under startup and recovery select settings. You will see an edit button, select this and it should bring up your boot.ini. Be very careful on what you change, if you change the wrong thing it will screw up you boot up. The only thing that should be changed is the text in the "".
