I need to remove quicken 2006 for someone on her laptop but she asked me if that will affect her usuing TurboTax, and I don't know. So I turn to my all knowing fellow techies here.

Any idea? I am not real sure what she is meaning, as I don't see any installation of TurboTax. I have never used TurboTax to know if it installs anything or not.

Thanks to all!
Chuck

Even though you can import (Tax) data files from one to the other, these are two independent programs. Removing .... cough .... uninstalling one should have no effect on the other. Now deleting the tax data saved in whatever folder on the machine is another thing altogether.
