Removing the primary drive

Currently I have 2 HDD's in my PC, a 4.3 GB drive (C) and a 30 GB drive (D). At the moment I have Win98SE on [c] and XP on [d].
What I want to do is remove [c] and put it into another case so I can make a NetBSD firewall/server machine, and just leave [d] with XP on in this machine.
What do I need to do to make this successful? I know that if I just removed [c] the MBR would point in the wrong place and it won't find an OS to load. I have thought about copying boot.ini to [d] and editing it appropriatly. Would this be enough?

You might want to visit osloader.com and check out their free software. It just might be the answer to your current and future problems. I have used it and really liked it.
