Comment:

I am running windows XP and have been trying to remove netmeeting from the startup systems tray. I deleted just about everything in the registry as normal, but for some reason there wasn't anything to delete for netmeeting. I can exit out of it, but I can't totally remove it completely. Anyone know how to permanently remove netmeeting from the systems tray in XP?

if you want to completely remove it from XP, i believe you go to control panel, add or remove programs, and then add/remove windows components

Or do Start > Run > and then copy and paste the following line:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove

If your XP installation directory is C:\WINNT rather than C:\Windows, use the following line:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\WINNT\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove

Click OK and let the uninstaller do its thing.
