removing log files

I ran a previous post about a strange file. It is actually a log file (T1.log). From what I can gather, it is some sort of file used for data mining. I have run Spybot and Adaware but the file keeps coming back in my C: Is there any way to permanently remove these types of files? Should they be removed? The thing gets larger and larger :)

you run adobe distiller. this log file is from that.
