I am trying to remove adaptec easy cd creator 4 which came with my computer when I got it but never came with disk so when I put windows xp on it no longer worked. I have since got a easy creator 5 disk to install so went to uninstall the old version and it removes the program but won't remove the Adaptec UDF Reader part and when I try to install the new version I get an error saying : Error 1606. could not access network location .all users\." and I got this same error when trying to install a software to my scanner as well... scanner is on the computer and working just one of the software programs it came with is not installed because of this same error and I can't get easy cd creator on at all how do I fix this error?.... please help me !!!
AFTER backing up the registry, search for adaptec & easy cd there & delete all refences
