removed Norton no internet

Symantec Norton 360
March 12, 2010 at 17:31:43
Specs: Windows xp
I uninstalled Norton and now I cannot connect to my wireless router. I've done everything every forum topic has suggested: used Norton's Removal tool, reset the TCP/IP stack and Winsock... nothing has worked.

Please help. Thank you.

Norton strikes again.....
Use all tools available. When you removed Norton and removed their firewall with it, they probably activated windows firewall for you (for your protection) but it was not active when programs that need access through it were installed. Look into windows firewall and you may need to add the programs to the list. (you can temporarily turn it off to check if I am right, but don't leave it off). or remove the programs and reinstall them.
You may want to do a manual search of your hard drive and you will probably find folders still from Symantic that you will want to delete, and look into your registry for more references to remove.
