That article describes two installs on one partition. This may not be your case if you have two partitions and two installes one on each partition.

Post your boot.ini for further advice.

I'm curious why you installed both? Which is installed 1st?

When you boot up and come up to the choice menu that is your boot.ini. It is a hidden file on the root of c:. You can viewit/edit it with a text editor.

Reason we need to view it is it would have told us in an instant if you had installed both on a single partition or each OS on its own partition and which partition they were installed on.

Update:
Glad to see you did not format c: as per your other post. That would have ended badly.

To get a feel of what boot.ini looks like:

1, Hit ΓΏ+R together to open Run dialogue box.
2. Type in msconfig in the white space bar.
3. Hit Enter key.
4. Click on the boot.ini tab of System Configuration utility. There you see your boot, ini

If you have a legal key for XP Pro, I suggest you get a copy of the disk from a friend (or the torrents), then dump XP Home.
