Remove Turn off Button

How can I remove the turn off and log off button from the start menu? I already have small shortcuts on my quick lauch bar. Can someone please help.

In XP Pro you can use the Group Policy Editor.

Start-> run-> type gpedit.msc

Follow the tree:

User Configuration.
Administrative Templates.
Start Menu and Taskbar.

Here you will find the following options:
"Remove Logoff on the Start Menu"
"Remove and Prevent Access to the ShutDown Command"

Simply highlight and right click, choose properties then choose enable and Apply.

There you have it.
