remotely kill process

i need to kill a process on a remote computer, without having to install 3rd party software. this pc is in the active directory on the network. any way to do this?
after it thought for awhile i got the error: The RPC server is unavailable. I have no idea what that means.

Just open computer managment, rt click on the comnputer management line at the top left and select connect to another computer. You can then either browse OR enter the PC name. From there, you can do pertty mcuh anyhting you want.

sweet, i was unaware you could do that. where do i kill processes (as opposed to services ... ones that would appear in the task manager) from here? i'm looking but don't see it.

You can easily kill remote process from the command prompt if you have PSkill from Sysinternals. It's just a single file.
