Currently I'm reviewing remote desktops and have successfully configured and managed to connect over the network. It seems to me that it works like Terminal Services in Windows 2000.
My question is can you actually view the desktop on another machines as it is like you can with other 3rd party remote control software such as VNC Viewer? This would be usefull in an IT Helpdesk world.

You might want to consider using the remote assistance option instead, the user sends an email to the helpdesk with a remote assistance request attached, you click it and a session is opened. You get a window showing their desktop and you have complete control as if you were there. The user can see your actions and can see what you do for future reference. The user can also terminate the connection at anytime.
