Comment:

I have a computer in my house set up with 2 user accounts, one I use for remote desktop, and one I use directly on that computer.

When I log in remotely or locally, the system tell me that I can only have one user active at a time, though it allows both users to have programs open at the same time.

Does anyone know a way around this? I would really like to be able to keep a local user active while a remote user is simultaneously logged in!

I don't think that's actually possible - the whole point of Users etc. is to make sure there's only one person 'driving' the system at a time.

not really, look at unix/linux - major multi user support (ever for the FreeX86 fowarding[GUI], etc)
