To start with, my RDC was working fine. Today i decided to network my machine to another machine and share my internet connection. Now that i have done this I can't RDC my machine (which i could before) I am getting this message on the other end.
"THE CLIENT COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE REMOTE COMPUTER.
REMOTE CONNECTIONS MIGHT NOT BE ENABLED OR THE COMPUTER
MIGHT BE TOO BUSY TO ACCEPT NEW CONNECTIONS. IT IS ALSO
POSSIBLE THAT NETWORK PROBLEMS PREVENTING YOUR
CONNECTION. PLEASE TRY CCONNECTING AGAIN LATER. IF THE
PROBLEM CONTINUES TO OCCUR, CONTACT YOUR ADMINISTRATOR."
I know this is a popular error to get. If i disable internet sharing then i CAN use my RDP. The problem is i NEED to keep sahring my internet connection and continue to use RDC.
It's not like i can't see the ip address either because i can still ping it. Also all my settings (that I know of) are enabling RDC.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Gabriel: set a restore point;
click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.

then try this registry edit;
click Start, Run, type: regedit
locate and right-click the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RasMan\PPP\

right-click PPP, and then click Export.
expand PPP, expand EAP, and then delete the folders 25 and 26.

quit Registry Editor, and then restart your computer.
