I want to be able to Remote Desktop my Lap Top and my Desktop computers without all the permissions baloney. Are there any inexpensive programs, that are simple to learn and easy to use. I have a peer to peer network and wondered if I could hook something up just across my own network to make remote desktop work without going over the internet. I've never done this before, so I'm not very familiar with how to do it. Any reading or book recomendations would sure be appreciated.

Check this out, http://www.radmin.com/default.html this is the program i thought was going to be so hard and time consuming, and it was the total opposite. Start the server on both computers, enter IP of computer you want to connect to and thats it.
