Hey, I have been wanting to set up a Remote Desktop Web Connection for some time now. I followed all the steps (going to Add/Remove Components and I installed the Remote Desktop Stuff) but when I go to http://(My IP)/tsweb on my comp it works, but on any other computer it does not! It may be because I need to open up port 3389 but I do not know how to do that, can sum1 tell me...or if ne1 thinks there is some other problem, then please help me!! Thanks guys!
First things first. Make sure you allow remote users to enter your computer and leave the computer running. Second, install remote desktop protocol client on the computer you will be using to access the host computer. Third, using remote desktop protocol client type your ip address where it says to and then a log on screen will appear. Type your administrator password and user name and your off to the races. If you have a firewall it will be more complicated. You will most likely have to open a port like you said, but i'm not sure, sorry about that. Hope this info helps you.
