I was trying to trouble shoot problems on a user's home PC which is running XP. I downloaded the Remote client for win2000. Had the user intitate the remote desktop via system icon.
Problem: The computer ID or IP address would not let me connect. I tried pinging the users IP which failed. The user is connected to the internet via a cable modem.
