For the life of me, I can't get the remote desktop web access to work correctly. Has anyone gotten it to work? If so, what are the exact steps to getting it up and running?

I got it to work across our LAN, I had to use the Guest account and make sure that access is enabled (on both computers) in the system properties dialog, under I think the remote access tab

I tried that, and I still get a strange error when I try to connect. It says the computer might be busy or there's something wrong with the internet connection, but I'm just running it on our lan, and the computers are literally side by side. Any other suggestions? I'm not totally sure how to configure the settings in the IIS panel under the tsweb properties. The WinXP help info isn't exactly the greatest. Any input would be very helpful. Thanks

Hmm that's odd, can you access the computers or at least see them in My Network Places?

I hate to be the one to say this guys, but you do know that XP's built in Firewall blocks Remote Desktop by default right? Well if you didn't, go to your firewall settings (Settings for Network Adapter->Advanced) and click the customize or advanced button on the bottom of the display. You then have to look at what services to allow through.

Hint: Check ('Allow Remote Desktop')
