CPU/Ram: 500MHZ/192MB

I want to be able to connect to my girlfriends computer for when she is having problems or whatever. And I got Remote Desktop Connection Logon Settings or whatever up. I just don't know how to connect to her computer can some please explain how I would do that.. And yes she has Windows XP too. Thanks!

i want to connect to my computer at office from home to access my files. my computer at office both have winxp pro and a modem.

how would i call to my computer at office' phone?

i create a new incoming connection in network connections and dial the number from home through dial-up networking but it doesnt work.

is this possible in remote desktop connection?

help!!!
