Remote Desktop Connection Problem

Remote Desktop is normally running with no problem between 2 computers in differnet cities. Say pc "A" and pc "B". Connection problem on "B" starts after I changed from a Belkin router to Netgear's.
Everytime I try to connect, "A" can be connected with a blank black screen awaiting for the logon process on "B". After a minute's time, a pop-up message appears says "The connection to the remote computer was broken. This may have been caused by a network error...". This problem can be solved by restarting "B", however after a day or so, the same problem appears again.
I am quite sure nothing wrong with the router settings as I had used Netgear's router with same configuration layouts.
Can any experts suggests what is wrong with this?? Thank you very much indeed...

One of the routers has to have a setting set I think I read. Universal plug and play or something like that. It was on the MS site. Guess is could be packet fragmentation?
"Connection problem on "B" starts after I changed from a Belkin router to Netgear's" It did work so the new router almost must be the problem.
