Does anyone have an idea why remote desktop doesn't work through wired to wireless connections? Remote desktop will begin to load the desktop, but quickly kicks you out. Any ideas?

What's your setup? Are you running XP Pro on both ends? Have you ruled out TCP/IP config issues and quality of wireless signal strength?
I'm at college, and my desktop computer is connected via ethernet. I can connect to it with my laptop via my university's wireless access points. Though I've never tried connecting the other direction--is this what you are trying to do?

XP pro is on both ends. TCP/IP is configured correctly. You can connect to the same machines with any computer running Ethernet; however, when a wireless NIC computer tries to connect with the same TCP/IP settings, the remote screen will begin to connect, but suddenly it kicks you out. This same problem occurs with CISCO, NetGear, and 3Com wireless cards. Any ideas?
