Just upgraded to new version of Remote desktop 6.
Does anyone know how to get the remote desktop 6 client to NOT ask for a password before connecting to a server? - I want to be prompted by the host for the password.
Reason being is that on the host computer there is a MS finger print scanner attached and the host uses DigitalPersona Password Manager 1.0 - when I connect to this host, Remote Desktop does not pass the password to the host so the host prompts me again which then logs me in, - I don't want to be prompted twice so need to get rid of RDP 6.0 from prompting first...
Any suggestions welcomed
Thanks in advance.
PS: Don't tell me to uninstall 6 and go back to previous version, I already have thought of that option if I can't get this sorted with 6 :)

The only option I can think of for you to try is to set the connection up with RDP 5.0 with your credentials entered (put in an incorrect password for security reasons), and then save it. Then try opening the saved session information in version 6.0. I'm not sure if that'll do it or not...
