hey all. maybe this should be in the networking one, but oh well. i was wondering if anyone knew of a simple program kinda like sub7 or bo2k, that would work in windows xp. see, i use this laptop and sit on the couch and do all my stuff on it. then i have this computer on the other side of the room that is connected to my ome theatre system. now... i am a lazy man, and dont like to get up over things like turning the volume down, or switching songs all the time. does anyone know of a program that will let my control winamp on the computer with the streo, from my laptop? both are connected to a network and all. dont want to use remote desktop sort of thing, just a simple program to control winamp without taking all my resources. thanks

A program called TIGHT VNC (google for it). It will place the entire desktop from a remote computer onto the desktop of another, including full mouse control.
It's kind of like you're sitting right in front of the remote computer. When you move the mouse on your computer, you will see the cursor move on the romote machine. You can contro; any program that is on the remote machine.
