Hi
I have Windows XP Professional. When I try to upload a picture file to a personal webpage like Geocities, I always get 'this page cannot be displayed' message when trying to do this. I've had a similar message when trying with other sites. Remote computer for some reason can't access the file from my hard drive when I request it.
I used to have Windows ME and could perform this operation without any problem.
Could this be something to do with XP Pro security ? I disabled the network connection firewall which is standard with no change.
I'm using Internet Explorer 6.
Any advice on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

What FTP are you using? You might need to check your internet security settings. In IE, click on tools, internet options, security, the internet symbol and see what is checked and not checked.
