Hello, I am trying to use remote assistance to connect to my Dad's computer to help him w/ a problem. I have his invite, but when I click it, it say connecting to his computer, and then it says "Remote Assistance connection could not be established because the remote host name could not be resolved. Please try again."
He is not getting anything on his screen to accept my invitation. I have tried this w/ his Norton Interenet Security disable and still no success.

On his computer, remote assistance has to be enabled under Control Panel, System, Remote and the port it uses needs to be opened on the firewall to allow the connection through - go to Windows Firewall, Exceptions, and make sure that it is checked off.
