while i was on net a window opened with message "remote access dialer made a connectþon do you want to discconnect" what is this? im using a dial-up connection so i dont want a surprise on the bill thank ya

hi, some xxx sites tricks us to install a dialer program, so that when it is installed and somebody click on dialer program icon, it'll dial to the site... and there's also alot of popup tricks to make us install programs such as spyware, ad-ware, junkware, scumware, etc :) those word u describe on the popup sounds like a trick to me... if you click 'yes' then the program'll install... it's something like "do you want to receive big bucks?" and when you click 'yes' that means u approve on a spyware install to your computer... look at the windows type, is it a browser popup or a windows popup? if it's browser, then - in most cases - clicking anything won't harm ur computer. if it's windows - looks similar to the windows popup when you're going to install an appliaction - then becareful... the relatively safest way is to close it immediately using ALT-F4 :) is this helps? if not, keep us posted :)
