hello, i installed windows xp on my thinkpad last night which had windows2000 pre-installed. now i cannot access the internet & when i try toset up a connection i get an error 711. i have since tried to activate this feature but get a error 5 message "cannot load remote access connection manager service". anyone any idea how to fix the problem?

control panel, admin tools, services ... see if the remote access connection manager is started, if not, try to start it manually, or set startup type to auto (if it's disabled) and restart.
