(Re)installing Remote Desktop Connection

Specs: Windows XP
Hi, I'm trying to get Remote Desktop Connection working on Windows XP. When I try to run it, I get the message, "The pre-release version of Remote Desktop Connection has expired. To download the full version of Remote Desktop Connection, go to Windows Update or contact your system administrator." Yet when I go to install RDC off of a Windows installer CD or to download it, I get a message like, "Remote Desktop Connection cannot be installed because your operating system already has a built-in version. See All Programs\Accesories\Communications\Remote Desktop Connections or your start menu."

I would greatly appreciate suggestions on how to get around this apparent quagmire!

Go here to update:

Please note: to install the above update you must be running Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (SP3)

Thanks very much; this worked and I'm already using the Connection.
