I want to reinstall Win XP Pro without loosing any of my programs. I don't want to reinstall all my programs again, is there a way just to reinstall win XP but keep everything the way it is, if so please tell me the steps to take.

Boot up using your XP CD. let it load startup files. Choose instal. Instal to the same partition as already installed. XP will ask if you wish to repair the existing system. Do so. Most of your files should be intact but you will need to redo all the updates and may lose personal/user settings. I would recommend backing up as much of your files as possible and make sure you have backups for installed programs in case any need to be reinstalled.
