Can anyone tell me what I need to do to reinstall XP SP2? I have a issue where my screensaver is not working. The .scr files work fine when I run them, and feedback from this forum has suggested that I need to reinstall SP2. But I can't seem to find a way to reinstall. Do I need to delete a file or something so that Windows Update can reinstall?

IF...you want to completely reinstall XP, Windows Update CANNOT do that...you MUST use your original XP install CD and to a REINSTALL...
IF...you want to reinstall SP2, Windows Update WILL NOT do that...it will sense that SP2 was previously installed and won't re-install it...
What, exactly, do you want to do???

Sorry, I was out of town this past week. All I want to do is reinstal SP2. I do not want to reinstall Win XP. And Windows Update will not allow me to reinstall SP2 because it will see that it is already installed.
