Reinstall Win XP Question

I was wondering if ur doing a reinstall of win xp using the repair option from the boot cd, will i lose any of the drivers(sound, graphics, printer, etc.) i have currently installed?

You are either doing a reinstall or a repair, they are not the same thing.

If you are repairing from the Xp CD as you say, then no, you will not lose any drivers, settings, or data.

you will lose all the XP updates uncluding SP1a.

so the only thing that will be gone are the XP updates if i did the repair option, correct? Thanks in advance.
