i reinstalled xpsp2 onto my c drive, and im using my smart phone as a broad band connection for internet. however i cant install the drivers for my smart phone onto the computer because i dont have adobe flash player 8 or above installed on my computer. what should i do to get flash player onto my computer. i cant get to the internet with my computer without my smart phone. thanks

do you know anyone with an internet connection or do you have one at work where you can download it onto a flash drive and bring it to your computer?

i cant save adobe onto my flash drive, it doesnt give you that option. just an agree and install option on their website. how should i save it to my flash drive. thanks

Have you got any old CDs for games, etc., kicking around?
Adobe is bundled with a great many other programs and you don't need the latest version to do what you have to do!
I recently loaded an older version that was only 5MB to test a printer.
You may have what you need in a desk drawer?---------

Try searching for "flash player redistributable"

Hi,
I've sent you a private message. Let me know how you get on.
The only reason i've done a private message is due to the fact that i've uploaded the flashplayer activex to my webspace and have sent the address to you. If everyone knew it then my bandwidth would get hammered lol.

upon my reinstall. im getting a generic host 32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close. what am i looking for exactly..could it be a corroupted xp os on my disk or a bad hard drive. its not making any unusual sounds

It could have been an issue when the OS was installing. Is it an original cd or a copy? If the disk looks ok and there isnt any obvious defects or scrathes then it might be worth getting hold of a memory checker to check your ram in the computer. If the ram is faulty then you will get corrupted data being transfered over during the install.
You can download a tester here as an iso image to burn to cd :-
