I am wondering what a good program is for fixing the registry is, preferably a free program. Registry Healer is pretty go, although just wondering what many of you think too. Maybe you guys have some ideas I don't.

I use ccleaner too but despite discovering 170+ obsolete reg errors, I'm not sure it really gave me any improvement. I'd worry bout security updates, viruses, and spyware.
Summary: Why in the world anyone thinks they can just go into the registry and do whatever they want without making a backup....just astounds me. You can try to fix it with the xp install cd(not a restore cd)...
