registry file corrupt

My registry file software and default seem to be corrupt and wont let me boot up, how do i repair from the xp cd?

Lol, still going huh Martin?
Go like you were wanting to do a fresh install, select the partition you want to install to, you should THEN get a message sayin' "Windows already on this partition, would you like to repair?"

lol yeh still goin! yeh illtry that now, will it delete any files that are on that partition?
