enter the bios, set the boot sequence to boot from cd.
boot all the way to a page listing the c: drive.
choose to repair there.
it will act like its reinstalling windows all over again, but its only repairing systems files/registry.
you won't lose any data

thx for your reply..but still I don't know what to do.

I can now reboot my computer with the cd, I press R to repair. It asked me which windows it should repair, well there is only one option for me, "1. D:\Windows", so I type: "1" then ENTER, then it ask me for the password...I enter it...then it shows:

D:\Windows

if I click ENTER, it will become:

D:\Windows
D:\Windows

what should I do from here? (Yes, my winXP is install in D drive)

It seem hard and difficult..:P

I think you are getting into the recovery console. What you need to do is :-

1. When it gives you the three options at the beginning. Hit enter to setup windows now.

2. Then you will see the End user license agreement. On which you need to hit the F8 key to accept the agreement.

3. Then you need to hit R in the next screen for repair which will take care of the repair installation.

This should work ;)

okay, I just found a web page. take a look:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/reskit/en-us/Default.asp?url=/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/reskit/en-us/prmc_str_bjid.asp

Okay, at the middle-bottom of the page they said:

Using Recovery Console to replace the System file

At the Recovery Console prompt, locate the config folder by typing:
cd system32\config

Create backups of the System or Software files by typing:
copy system <drive:\path\filename>

-or-

copy software <drive:\path\filename>

If they exist, save backups of other files that use file names that start with "system" or "software," such as System.sav or Software.sav.

Replace the current System or Software file by typing:
copy ..\..\repair\system

-or-

copy ..\..\repair\software

Answer the Overwrite system? (Yes/No/All): prompt by pressing Y.
Restart the computer.

Is that the way I've to do it? I'm not so sure?

You can try and run the disk cleanup wizard and see if that helps or not.
