No, you can't. Does the machine boot to Windows? How about a little more detail?

It is the AntiVirus 2009 Trojan\spamware\virus

I have a crib sheet that tell me what I need to do from within windows which includes deleting 4 registry keys. As I am not aware of how much access I will have to the PC (either this spam\trojan\virus or other problems blocking me) from installing or accessing other files\internet access I wondered if I could of accessed the registry from linux and deleted the entry I needed from there.

I know all about regedit and the use of programs like malwarebytes, a2squared to eradicate and check the system over.
