I am going through my Registary and trying to find the progrqams that I know are in there, meaning the back doors, etc, that keep reloading into my computer after I re install the new OS and clean the hardrives. I saw a root file that has all kinds of Legacy files. Are these normal?
for instance,
Legacy_rasauto
Legacy_RemoteAccess
Legacy_MNMSRV
Legacy_remoteregistary
Legacy_clipsrv
Legacy_bits
Legacy_shellhwdetection
Legacy_ssdpsr
Legacy_wuausrvs

all have 0000 in a file below them and one or two has a CSConfigFlags as 0001
etc.

Legacy is a genealogy prog so guess if you play around with your ancestors you may have run the prog.

Have a good clean up with EasyCleaner: download from http://www.toniarts.com/ecleane.htm

Good luch

I took a look at my own registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root]

I had over a hundred of those "LEGACY_" entries, so it seems normal.
