regedit.exe lost

I can't understand why the regedit.exe has disappeared. Show me howto get it back?

when you attempt to run it, does it just disappear, or is the actual file gone... if it just disappears, no error messages, run the online virus scanner at trendmicro.com... this is most likely the YAHA worm.

Run regedt32.exe until the the other editor
can be found or reinstalled.
(start-run-type in SFC/SCANNOW click ok)

you can try renaming it to regedit.com
if a virus has caused it, then it will run.
