hi. i roll through my local keys and find tings like Kaspersky Innovative. Mozilla plugins. Mozilla. Schlumberger and other keys with no value altho some sub-keys do. What can I safely delete? Have already removed Google update once-it came back after the reboot. I use OPERA now. Have also removed Kaspersky key and one or two others. how far can i safely go with these non value keys? Thanks or any help
Use the uninstall in the Add Remove Programs to do this. Never mess with the Registry unless you know what you are doing. If the uninstall did not remove every thing from the registry, look for a CleanUp program from the vendors site or follow their instructions on what keys to get rid of.
Ace and Stuart. Cool thanks for the reply. I always see the Comodo progrmme and MCRSFT security suite scan always become stopped checking things in the Reg. and i wonder... do i need that stuff? thanks for the answers i shall leave it alone. System runs great too. I have xpsp3 Barebone ASUS Terminator. Great system. Have a good one. :-)
