I got TV-OUT working on my video card and would like to know the best/max refresh rate and resolution to use on my TV. Its a standard CRT 27" Philips. Read somewhere that if the refresh rate is too high that it can damage the TV. any help would be appreciated.

If you plug in your S-video or composite cable to your TV without your monitor, your computer should recognize your display device as a TV. I have used a TV to play games on twice, but I about went bug eyed looking at it, I think that my settings were off too even though they were set for TV. I don't believe any options were able to be changed with the TV though. I have tried it with a Win98-GeForce 3 3300 (800X600 60htz) and a WinXP-GeForce 4 4600 (1024X768 60htz), but both times the TV was blurry. The TV I used was the same as yours. If you come up with anything email me.
